News Desk: No one has died of coronavirus in Chittagong in the last 24 hours. However, 6 people were identified as infected with the virus during this period. The total number of identities in the district so far stood at one lakh two thousand 960 people. One thousand 333 people have died in the district so far.

A report released by the Chittagong Civil Surgeon's Office on Saturday (January 6th) morning revealed this information.

Civil Surgeon Dr. Mohammad Ilias Chowdhury said that in the last 24 hours, samples of 1,530 people were tested in different labs of Chittagong and corona germs were detected in the bodies of 6 people. The detection rate is 4.96 percent. Among the victims, 71 are residents of the city and five are residents of different upazilas.

He added that in the last 24 hours, one person in Chittagong University Lab, nine in Fauzdarhat BITID Lab, 12 in Chittagong Medical College Hospital Lab, two in Chittagong Veterinary University Lab, 20 in Chevron Hospital Lab, 19 in Chittagong Maternal and Child Hospital Lab and six in Epic Healthcare Lab. , Three coronas were identified in the Metropolitan Hospital Lab and four in the Asian Specialized Hospital Lab.
