News desk:  Heat alert has been issued across the country. In this situation, the Meteorological Department has predicted that the storm will blow over several regions of the country at a speed of 60 km per hour.

The Meteorological Office has given this information in a warning for river ports on Sunday (April 21). It is said that between 1 pm on Sunday (April 21) gusty or gusty wind may blow over various areas of Sylhet from the west and north-west at a speed of 45-60 km per hour. At this time there may be rain and thunder. River ports in these areas have been asked to display warning signal number 1.

It has also been said that two places each in Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions may experience temporary gusty/gusty winds with rain/thunder. Along with that, there may be scattered hailstorms at some places.

Apart from this, the weather may remain mainly dry with partly cloudy sky elsewhere in the country. The prevailing heat wave may continue. Day and night temperatures may remain almost unchanged across the country. Excess water vapor may cause discomfort.
