Deadly Israeli attack on 2 refugee camps in Gaza, 45 killed

International Desk: Israel has attacked the Jabalia and Nuseirat refugee camps in the Gaza Strip of Palestine. At least 45 people were killed.

Many others were injured. Besides, many people are trapped under the rubble. Qatar-based media Al Jazeera reported this information in a report on Sunday.

Al Jazeera reported that at least 17 people were killed and many others injured when Israeli forces attacked a house in Nuseirat. Besides, many others are missing trapped under the rubble.

The media also reported that at least 28 Palestinians were killed and dozens wounded in Israeli airstrikes in the northern Gaza Strip. Among the dead are many women and children. Earlier, at least 64 Palestinians were killed in an Israeli attack on Gaza on Saturday. Al Jazeera says Israeli forces stepped up attacks across the Gaza Strip and killed at least 64 Palestinians on Saturday, according to their correspondents.

On October 7 last year, Hamas launched an unprecedented attack on Israel from southern Gaza. Israel claims that 1,200 people were killed in this attack. In addition, Hamas fighters took 253 Israeli hostages to Gaza. Since this incident, Israel has been attacking Gaza. In the beginning, the Israeli forces started attacking the northern part of Gaza.

Later, their aggression spread to the southern part of Gaza. According to the Gaza Ministry of Health, more than 35,000 Palestinians, mostly women and children, have been killed in the Israeli offensive.

Apart from this, more than 79 thousand 200 people were injured in the attack. Israel's war in Gaza, which has lasted for more than 7 months, has devastated large parts of the valley. Millions of people are suffering from acute shortages of food, water, fuel and medicine.
