Martyred Intellectuals Day is celebrated with due dignity in Bakrbi

Mymensingh Correspondent: On the occasion of Martyred Intellectuals Day in Mymensingh, teachers and students paid deep homage to the martyrs at the slaughterhouse of Bangladesh Agricultural University with flowers. On Tuesday morning, the first tribute to the martyred intellectuals on behalf of the Vice-Chancellor of the Bangladesh Agricultural University, Professor. Rafiqul Islam.

On this day in 1971, a minute of silence was observed in memory of the martyrs of the infernal massacre of the Pakistani aggressors and prayers were offered for the forgiveness of the souls of the martyrs. After that, various organizations including Democratic Teachers Forum, Sonali Dal, Officers and Employees Association and Chhatra League presented wreaths separately.
