News Desk: Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader has said that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has shown the highest example of human rights for Khaleda Zia considering her age and health despite being a convicted felon. He questioned the BNP leaders, saying that during the rule of Ziaur Rahman and Begum Zia, did any convicted, convicted accused get such opportunity (interim release and treatment from home)? Or will they be able to show any precedent that anyone in the opposition got such an opportunity during their rule?

He said the BNP's aim was to make Khaleda Zia's treatment an issue and destabilize the country by fishing in muddy waters. In this context, Obaidul Quader said, BNP leaders are now weeping for Begum Zia. However, they could not hold an eye-catching procession for his release and treatment. He was speaking to reporters at a briefing at his residence on Friday (December 10th) morning. Obaidul Quader asked BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir who had set an example of humanity in the politics of this country and who was practicing rudeness and indecency. But then standing in Parliament, the then Prime Minister Begum Zia said that the grenade was taken by Sheikh Hasina in a vanity bag. Obaidul Quader wants to know the statement of the leader of any civilized country.

Criticizing the statement made by the Prime Minister on the founding anniversary of Juba League, the BNP secretary general said, "It is not possible to expect such a statement from a leader of a civilized country." Obaidul Quader requested Fakhrul Islam to look in the mirror before criticizing him. Awami League general secretary further questioned that when Bangabandhu's daughter Sheikh Hasina went to console Begum Zia after the death of her child, they closed the door. That inhuman and barbaric behavior can make the head of a political party in a civilized country - will the BNP secretary general answer that? A party leader of a civilized country can utter vulgar language against the invitation of tea at Ganobhaban - will the BNP secretary general also give an answer? Obaidul Quader requested the BNP Secretary General to look at himself with respect and said, "Who is the Member of Parliament who cheats with the people's vote who does not go to the Parliament, while his party is in the Parliament - who has done such double standard politics?" Which civilized country's political party can?

I hope you will answer. He said that the main mastermind and beneficiary of the assassination of Bangabandhu and his family, those who tried to assassinate Sheikh Hasina, carried out grenade attacks Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has shown the highest example of human rights. Quader said for Fakhrul, then tell me who has established humanity in the politics of this country, and who is practicing rudeness and indecency in politics.
