Students in the school following the hygiene rules, the environment has changed

Tentulia (Panchagarh) Correspondent: The environment of the campus has changed due to the outbreak of the epidemic corona virus. After the opening of the educational institution for a long year and a half, the teaching is going on in the presence of the teachers and students in the educational institution. This picture is of the schools of Tentulia in Panchagarh like all over the country. The students are also overjoyed to be reunited with their classmates after a long day. Schools have become a joyous environment. The students are coming to the school following the hygiene rules and they are making each other aware.

On the spot, Shalbahan Bi-directional High School, Shalbahan Girls' High School, Kalandiganj High School, Majhipara Bi-directional High School of the upazila were visited and it was seen that hygiene was being observed in the schools. Thermometers, hand sanitizers and face masks are used to measure temperature. Cleaned every classroom in the school. However, in many schools, the image of compliance with hygiene rules was not seen.

The headmasters of the educational institutions said that since the school was closed for a long year and a half, the furniture and the rooms were full of spider webs and garbage. They have been cleaned and sprayed with disinfectant. And on the first day of school, there was a lot of preparation to welcome the students. Students were greeted with flowers. Hygiene is being taught in the classroom. A warning has been given at the gate by writing 'No Mask No School' on the banner. Students are coming to school after masks.

“We are coming to school after the mask,” said Fabia Fahmida Setu, a ninth-grade student at Shalbahan Girls High School. Not being able to come to school for a long time, I felt like I was stuck in a closed room. It feels very good to be able to come to college. Many said that in the last one and a half years, several of our classmates have got married. If the school was not closed, I might have been with them. They also promised to come to school every day to study according to the hygiene rules.

Abu Bakkar Siddique Kabul, headmaster of Shalbahan Bi-directional High School, said, "My school is teaching hygiene." I greeted the students with flowers on the first day. And every student is given a hand sanitizer by measuring the temperature as soon as he enters. Those who do not have a mask are being given a mask. And my organization has an isolation room. If a student suddenly develops any of the symptoms of corona, medical services are arranged for immediate medical attention by isolation.

Upazila Nirbahi Officer Sohag Chandra Saha said, "We were preparing to open the schools in the upazila after receiving government instructions." I have held meetings with teachers, parents and the managing committee to implement the government's instructions. The students are attending the school following the hygiene rules. Encouragement has been noticed among the students to follow the hygiene rules. We have to hold on to it.
