At least 38 people died in 3 months

News Desk: Coronavirus (Covid-19) has infected 38 more people in the last 24 hours across the country. This number is the lowest after three months. Earlier, on June 9, the health department had reported 37 deaths.

The total death toll stood at 26,732. At the same time, 2,325 people have been identified as new victims. The total number of identities stands at 15 lakh 26 thousand 215 people. This information has been given in a regular notification about taxes sent from the Department of Health on Friday (September 10). In the last 24 hours, 26,230 samples were collected and 26,006 samples were tested. So far, the total number of sample tests is 92 lakh 2 thousand 690. The detection rate is 7.75 percent as compared to the sample test. So far, the detection rate in the sample test is 16.70 percent.

3 thousand 656 people have recovered from Corona in 24 hours. The number of patients who have recovered so far is 14 lakh 72 thousand 7 people. Of the 36 dead, 20 were men and 18 were women.

During this period 16 people died in Dhaka, 10 in Chittagong, 2 in Rajshahi, 5 in Khulna, 1 in Sylhet, 1 in Rangpur and 2 in Mymensingh. On March 8 last year, coronavirus was detected in the bodies of the first three people in the country. Ten days later, on March 17 of that year, the first person in the country died of the virus.
