Monthly tree planting program of Tentulia Krishak League

Tentulia (Panchagarh) Correspondent: Bangladesh Krishka League has undertaken a month-long tree planting program from the first day of mourning on the occasion of the 75th martyrdom anniversary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the architect of independent Bangladesh. At 6 pm on Tuesday, the Tirnuihat Union Krishka League branch of Tentulia Upazila planted fruit and fruit trees at Khaykhatpara Nurania and Hafezia Madrasas seeking the blessings of the souls of Bangabandhu and his martyred family.

Abdul Latif Tarin, Central Vice President of Bangladesh Krishka League and President of Banglabandha Land Port Import-Export Group planted trees as the chief guest on the occasion. General Secretary of Upazila Krishka League Zulfiqar Ali Jewel, Organizing Secretary Reazul Islam Mollah, Bir Muktijoddha Atiyar Rahman, President of Upazila Swechchhasebak League Shawkat Ali Mia and co-editor of Dainik Kaler Kantha Ataur Rahman Kabul were present as special guests.

Also present were Tirnihat Union Krishka League President Abdul Malek, General Secretary Abdus Samad, Shalbahan Union Krishka League General Secretary Kabir Hossain, Sadar Union Krishka League Vice President Abdul Matin, General Secretary Atiyar Rahman Tara and other Krishak League leaders. Speaking as the chief guest, Abdul Latif Tarin, central vice-president of Krishka League, said Bangladesh does not exist without Bangabandhu. He sowed the seeds of independent Bangladesh. The assassins brutally killed the family members including the father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the best son of the millennial architect of Bangladesh. Bangabandhu's son Sheikh Kamal, Sheikh Jamal, child Sheikh Russell, daughter-in-law Sultana Kamal and Rosi Jamal along with 16 family members and relatives.

Bangabandhu's two daughters Sheikh Hasina and Sheikh Rehana miraculously survived that day. He further said that Krishka League paid heartfelt homage to this great leader, the architect of an independent country, and planted fruit trees at Tiranaihat, Khaykhatpara, Nurania and Hafezia Madrasa as part of a month-long tree planting program. At the same time, through the prayers of the Hafez students of the Madrasa, I wish the forgiveness of Bangabandhu and his martyred family and the long life of the Prime Minister.
