Japan's central meteorological office has ordered the evacuation of 120,000 people to safer areas due to heavy rains on the island of Kyushu in southern Japan. The country's media NHK reported this information in a report on Saturday.

The NHK report said warnings had already been issued in three parts of Japan's Kyushu island due to heavy rains; And Japan's Central Meteorological Agency has instructed local government authorities to evacuate residents of these three divisions to safer places.

Earthquakes and cyclones are almost a regular occurrence in Japan, a country prone to natural disasters. Recently, heavy rains and landslides have been added to the list in the country.

On July 3, 60 people went missing in the coastal tourist town of Atami, 90 kilometers south of the Japanese capital Tokyo, due to heavy rains and landslides. Not all of them have been found yet.
