Coronavirus: Increased mortality and decreased infection in India

International Desk: Daily coronavirus infection rate in India has decreased but death has increased again. According to a bulletin released by the country's health ministry on Friday (July 10th), 1,207 people have died in the last 24 hours, while another 42,007 have been infected.

Earlier in the day, 43,393 people were attacked and 911 killed in the country. The state of Kerala has been most affected.

According to the report, the total number of victims in the country stands at 3 crore 8 lakh 95 thousand 618 people. In the last 24 hours, the total number of deaths including 1206 people stood at 4 lakh 8 thousand 145 people.

On the other hand, the daily infection rate in India is below three. On Saturday, the rate stood at 2.19 percent. With this, the infection rate remained below three for 18 consecutive days. The recovery rate in the country is 98.20 percent.

In the last 24 hours, 13,573 people in the Indian state of Kerala, 6,992 in Maharashtra, 3,039 in Tamil Nadu and 2,290 in Karnataka have been affected by corona.

The country's health ministry said the coronavirus was spreading rapidly from populated areas and travel spots. Therefore, the ministry has called for more vigilance in these places.

The second wave of corona in India is not over yet. Therefore, the government has urged the people to avoid public gatherings and crowds. Besides, everyone has been urged to wear masks.
