Corona has the highest number of patients identified in a single day in the country, with 45 deaths

News Desk: In the last 24 hours, 5,171 people have been identified as newly infected with coronavirus in the country. As a result, the total number of victims has increased to six lakh, 795 people.

This is the highest known corona in the country in one day. Earlier, on July 2 last year, 4,019 people were infected with a corona in the country. So far, this was the highest identification in the country in a single day. At the same time, another 45 people died of coronavirus. The death toll from the virus rose to 8,949. This is the highest number of deaths in a single day in the country since August 28.

The virus killed 48 people that day. This information has been given in the regular press release on tax sent from the Department of Health on Monday (March 29). It has been said that in the last 24 hours, 2,006 people have been exempted from taxes.

So far, a total of five lakh 37 thousand 18 people have been exempted from taxes. At this time, samples of 26,006 people have been collected. 26 thousand 195 samples have been tested. The detection rate is 16.38 percent compared to the sample test in 24 hours. Compared to the total test, the detection rate is 13.01 percent. Of the 45 people killed in the last 24 hours, 30 were men and the remaining 15 were women.

Of these, 44 others died at home in the hospital. Of the total 8,949 deaths so far, 6,748 were males and the remaining 2,203 were females. The age-based analysis showed that among the 45 people who died, 28 were in their 60s, eight in their 51s and 60s, four in their 41s and 50s, five in their 31s and 40s, and one in their 21s and 30s.

According to the departmental analysis, 26 died in Dhaka, six in Chittagong, five in Rajshahi, three in Khulna, and one each in Barisal, Sylhet, and Rangpur. On March 7 last year, corona was identified in the bodies of the first three people in the country. Exactly 10 days later, on March 16, the virus died for the first time in the country. Considering the current situation due to the increase in coronavirus infection, the government has issued 18 new instructions.

This includes banning public gatherings in the most infected areas, as well as instructions to go out of the house unnecessarily after 10 pm. Monday (March 29), Chief Secretary to the Prime Minister's Office. Ahmed Kaikaus has signed the notification.
