We mourn the tragic loss of life and extend our deepest sympathies to the families of the deceased and to those still awaiting news of missing loved ones.

‎The Committee fully endorses the statement of solidarity issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and stands united with the Government of Prime Minister Tarique Rahman in offering humanitarian and rescue assistance.

‎As a nation that acutely understands the devastation of natural disasters, the Parliament and the people of Bangladesh reaffirm their unwavering support for Nepal. The Committee stands ready to work with the Ministry to ensure the safety of any Bangladeshi nationals in the affected areas, and to support the Government's efforts to expedite all necessary bilateral aid.
