Pakistan team announced for Bangladesh tour, absent Babar

Sports Desk :Pakistan has announced the squad for the three-match ODI series against Bangladesh. Former Pakistan captain Babar Azam did not get a place in this 15-member team. 6 players who have not yet played ODIs have been kept in the team. The team is led by Shaheen Shah Afridi.

Babar's omission from the ODI team is surprising. Because Babar got a century in the last ODI series as well.

However, Babar failed to perform in T20 World Cup. Babar scored only 91 runs in 6 matches in the World Cup, that too at a strike rate of 112.34.

Pakistan's highest run scorer in the World Cup was Sahibzada Farhan. Farhan, who scored 383 runs, is the highest run scorer in the World Cup so far. He may make his ODI debut in the Bangladesh series.

Apart from him, the other cricketers who did not make their ODI debut are Abdul Samad, Maj Sadakat, Muhammad Gazi Ghori, Saad Masud and Shamil Hossain. Samad, Sadaqat, Saad Masood and Shamil Hussain were in the Pakistan Shaheens team, which recently played against the England Lions in Abu Dhabi.

Pakistan opener Fakhar Zaman is not in the team. Before the announcement of the team, Pakistan's Geo News reported that Fakhar has suffered a hamstring injury.
