‎4th Made-in-Pakistan Exhibition Opens in Dhaka to Boost Bilateral Trade

Diplomatic Correspondent: The 4th Made-in-Pakistan Exhibition was inaugurated at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in Dhaka on Tuesday, bringing together more than 100 Pakistani exhibitors to showcase a diverse range of products and strengthen business ties between Pakistan and Bangladesh.
‎The three-day exhibition, organized by the Pakistan Association of Exhibition Industry, features products from various sectors, including textiles, food and beverages, cosmetics, herbal and wellness products, handicrafts and fashion accessories.
‎The exhibition will remain open to visitors daily from 11:00 am to 10:00 pm and will continue until September 26.
‎Vice Chairman and Chief Executive of the Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) of Bangladesh Mohammad Hasan Arif and Pakistan High Commissioner to Bangladesh Imran Haider jointly inaugurated the exhibition.

‎Representatives from different trade sectors, journalists, a large number of local visitors and members of the Pakistani community attended the inauguration ceremony.
‎Speaking at the event, High Commissioner Imran Haider said bilateral trade and economic relations between Pakistan and Bangladesh were growing steadily.
‎He highlighted several recent developments in bilateral trade, including the opening of several Pakistani fashion outlets in Bangladesh, increased trade in essential commodities and the completion of the technical process that will facilitate the export of pineapples from Bangladesh to Pakistan.
‎The High Commissioner encouraged the business communities of both countries to share policy proposals with the Pakistan High Commission and the EPB to address trade barriers and develop long-term business-to-business partnerships.
‎EPB Vice Chairman Mohammad Hasan Arif congratulated the organizers for holding the exhibition and expressed his interest in increasing exchanges of business delegations and exhibitors between the two countries to strengthen connections between their respective business communities.
‎He said Bangladeshi exhibitors would participate in upcoming exhibitions in Pakistan and assured EPB’s facilitation in organizing joint seminars and conferences.
‎Arif also invited Pakistani business delegates to participate in the upcoming Global Sourcing Expo and Dhaka International Trade Fair 2027 in Bangladesh.
‎He urged businesses from both countries to explore joint ventures and new business opportunities based on the complementary strengths of the two economies.
‎Both the EPB Vice Chairman and the Pakistan High Commissioner appreciated the organizers for arranging the exhibition and emphasized the importance of expanding commercial engagement and business-to-business cooperation between Bangladesh and Pakistan.
