Clashes between the two sides in Kubi due to the previous incident, 2 injured

KUBI Correspondent: Two students were injured in a clash between two factions of BCL at Comilla University (KUBI). The incident took place in front of the Vice-Chancellor's residence at 10 pm on Monday (March 1).

According to eyewitness accounts, Sohail Hawladar, a student of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Hall, a student of 11th rotation of the management department, was martyred by Dhirendranath Dutta, a student of the 12th rotation of Finance and Banking Department. -Amin, several BCL leaders and activists including Abhishek suddenly attacked. At that time, Chhatra League activists Satyajit Saha Setu, Wasiful Islam Sadif, Soumik, and some others of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Hall were with Sohail went to resist and a scuffle broke out between the two sides.

Sohail Hawladar's ribs and left eye were seriously injured and Pritam Sen's nose was injured. Later, Sohail Hawladar was taken to Comilla Medical College in a university ambulance for advanced treatment and Pritam Sen was given first aid at the University Medical College.

Sohail Hawladar said, "I was attacked from the front and back in a hurry before I realized anything. At that time I could not see anything due to eye injuries, but I could feel that my friends were trying to resist me.

" Regarding the incident, BCL activist Salman Chowdhury said, 'I went out to eat and drink at the hotel and saw my friend coming injured. I was not there at the time of the incident. In fact, I am not involved in the incident in any way.

Kubi branch general secretary of the BCL. Rezaul Islam Majed said, 'We will sit down tomorrow (Tuesday) with Ilias Bhai (president of the branch Chhatra League) in the evening. Necessary action will be taken against those who are guilty.

In this context, the university proctor said. Kazi Mohammad Kamal Uddin said, "Tomorrow (Tuesday) we will try to resolve the issue on behalf of the administration with the proctorial body, those who have had problems, and student representatives." If anyone is found guilty, legal action will be taken.
