HSC's 'Autopass' gazette issued, results published any day

News Desk: The gazette of three amended laws passed in the parliament has been issued to publish the results of HSC and equivalent examinations without examination. Earlier, the President said. Abdul Hamid agreed to three bills. After the President's consent, the bill became law.

On Monday (January 25) night, the gazettes of ‘Intermediate and Secondary Education (Amendment) Act-2021’, ‘Bangladesh Technical Education Board (Amendment) Act-2021’ and ‘Bangladesh Madrasa Education Board (Amendment) Act-2021’ were published.

Now the results will be released any day. The law was passed to give HSC results on the basis of SSC and JSC examination results.

Earlier on Sunday (January 24) in Parliament, the first Minister of Education. Dipu Moni raised the issue of passing the Intermediate and Secondary Education (Amendment) Bill-2021. Later it was passed by voice vote.

Then Bangladesh Technical Education Board (Amendment) Bill-2021 and Bangladesh Madrasa Education Board (Amendment) Bill-2021 were passed.

During the three passes of the bill, the education minister said it would take two days to notify the bill after it was passed. Then we will publish the results quickly. According to the previous law, there is a provision to give the result of HSC and equivalent examination after taking the examination.

But the amended bill provides for disclosure of results in special circumstances without examination. Dr. about the purpose and reasons of the three bills. Dipu Moni said that if the proposed law does not allow for examination, publication of results and issuance of certificate in special circumstances due to epidemics, epidemics or in any unavoidable circumstances at the time fixed by the government, the government may issue examinations for students in a particular year without examination or in short syllabus.

The circular mentions the issue of issuing instructions for evaluation and issuance of certificate in the manner mentioned in the circular. Meanwhile, there is a demand to reopen the educational institution which has been closed for a long time in Corona.

The Department of Secondary and Higher Education has published guidelines to make that initiative a success.

The guideline says that no examination should be taken within two months of the opening of the educational institution. Last Friday (January 22) night, the guideline was sent to the heads of all secondary, school and college, higher secondary, higher secondary level higher education institutions.

It has been said that according to this guideline, it has been planned to open educational institutions in compliance with the health rules. At the same time, it has been asked to be ready to open the educational institution by ensuring the health and safety of the students as soon as the order of the higher authority is received.

The guidelines state that in order to protect the health of students, classroom benches should be placed at a distance of three feet. If the length of the bench is less than five feet, one student can sit on each bench and two students can sit on a bench of five to seven feet length according to hygiene rules.

The temperature should be checked with a thermometer before entering the school. Apart from this, the students have been instructed to take classes in shifting method, create a pleasant environment by taking educational activities for the first 15 days and not to take any examination within two months. The 36-page guideline was prepared in collaboration with UNICEF.

After the first corona patient was identified in the country on March 6 last year, all educational institutions were closed from March 16. The last leave has been extended till January 30.
