The Ministry of Finance has issued an order regarding the grade of primary teachers

News Desk: Even after 11 months after the announcement, the 13th grade of primary teachers has not been implemented yet. This has created dissatisfaction among the assistant teachers.

Besides, there were rumors among the teachers about which teacher would get the salary grade or not. In this situation, the Ministry of Finance has issued a government order. As a result, all teachers recruited before 2019 will get 13th grade.

Deputy Secretary at the Ministry of Finance Raunak Afroza Suma signed the order issued by the Finance Department. The order said that before the promulgation of the Government Primary Teacher Recruitment Rules-2019, the consent of the Finance Department was given in the following conditions to determine the salary grade of the teachers who were employed by relaxing their educational qualifications.

In this regard, the central president of the Bangladesh Primary School Assistant Teachers Association. Shamsuddin Masood said that as a result, the teachers who have passed SSC will also get 13th grade. He thanked the Ministry of Finance for this.
