Meanwhile, Turkey's Minister of Environment, Climate and Urban Planning, Murat Kurum, said last Friday that 84,726 buildings in 10 provinces of the country were damaged by the earthquake. Only 7 thousand 300 workers have been assigned to assess the damage in Adana province. Meanwhile, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that he will start construction of new buildings in the affected area in March. He announced the construction of 11 lakh new buildings.

Three people were rescued alive in Turkey after 13 days: Three people, including a child, were rescued alive from the rubble by Turkish rescuers 13 days after the earthquake. According to local media, three people were buried under the Kanatli apartment block in Antakya, the capital of Hatay province for 269 hours. After being rescued, they were sent to the hospital by ambulance. Footage shows rescuers carrying a man and a woman on stretchers to a waiting ambulance.

Beside them, a child is being taken to the doctors. Turkish broadcaster TRT reported that many more people were expected to be rescued alive from the same building. Ambulances were ready for this. Meanwhile, Ghanaian soccer player Christian Atsuke was found dead under his residence in southern Turkey on Saturday. Atsu's Turkish club Hatay Por wrote on Twitter — 'We will never forget you, Atsu. Peace be upon you.'
