173 plane passengers narrowly escaped in the Philippines

International Desk: A Korean Airlines plane narrowly avoided a major accident after it skidded off the runway in the Philippines while landing in inclement weather. The accident happened when the plane with 173 passengers was landing at the Cebu International Airport in the Philippines at midnight on Sunday. Reuters news.

The aircraft failed to land on the runway twice in inclement weather. Taking a third risk, the pilot plane skidded off the runway while landing at 11:07 PM local time on Sunday.

At that time, the nose wheel of the aircraft broke off and crashed on the side of the runway, but there were no casualties as it did not catch fire. Fortunately, all the passengers of the plane were rescued unharmed. This is the first time since 1997 that a Korean Airlines plane has suffered a major accident.
