5 killed including policemen in gun attack in USA

International Desk: A gunman has shot and killed 5 people, including a police officer, in the state of North Carolina, USA. The incident took place in Raleigh on Thursday. The killer has been arrested. The New York Times reported Friday morning that the police officer who was killed in the shooting in Raleigh was on vacation. Three people were injured in the attack. A policeman is also among them. The injured have been admitted to hospital. Raleigh Mayor Mary Ann Bald confirmed this information and said, "We need to do more to stop gun violence in the United States." The attacker was reportedly a white teenager. He is quite tall. Police confirmed in a tweet that he has been taken into custody. The shooting happened near the Neuse River Greenway around 5pm local time. After about three hours, the attacker was arrested. Police have not released the identity of the attacker but said a gun was found in his possession.
