A recitation competition was held at Jabi

Jabi Correspondent: 'Bangabandhu Inter-University Recitation Competition 2022' organized by Jagannath University Recitation Sangsad (JBIS). The competition was held on Friday with the participation of 70 students from various public and private universities of the country.

The treasurer of the university was present as a special guest. Kamaluddin Ahmed. Also, Ahkam Ullah, General Secretary of Bangladesh Recitation Coordinating Council, was present as the main discussant. Congratulatory speech was delivered by Jagannath University's Education and Training Advisor and Sociology Department Assistant Professor K. M. Sujauddin.

The first stage of the competition was 'I have not come to seek someone's blood' and the second stage was 'Epic Tragedy' and the final stage was given to the contestants to recite a self-selected poem. In this case only those who pass one stage get the opportunity to participate in the next stage

Bangladesh Recitation Coordinating Council President Regina Wali Leena, Organizing Secretary Ahsan Ullah Tamal and Vice President Enamul Haque Babu of Speech Recitation Training Center served as judges.

The competition was moderated by General Secretary Annyama Nasuha Nuhin, the organization's advisor and Assistant Professor of Islamic Studies, Kamrul Islam Jewel, presided over the event. It was attended by the former advisor of the organization and chairman of the department of management studies. Mohiuddin and others.

President of Jabis. Organizational Secretary Ehsanul Haque Rocky, Library Secretary Fariha Alam Lavanya and other leaders were present in the event along with Zahir Uddin. Students of various departments of the university and others were present at the time.

At the end of the competition, the names of the selected three were announced. Anamika Gain, a student of Jagannath University, won the first place, Amrita Biswas Ria, a student of the same university, won the second place and Zaheed Hasan, a student of Bangla College, won the third place.

The competition was organized by Jagannath University Recitation Council and in collaboration with Bangladesh Recitation Coordinating Council.
