Hajj activities started, thanks to the Minister of State for Religion

News Desk: The people of Bangladesh have been able to take part in the Hajj. Faridul Haque Khan. The state minister was speaking at the inaugural function of Hajj activities at Ashkona Hajj Camp in the capital on Friday (June 3) morning. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurated the Hajj program. Faridul Haque Khan said, “No country in the world has been able to take part in Hajj for the last two years due to global epidemic coronavirus. As the situation has improved, a limited number of passengers will be able to take part in the Hajj this year. ” He expressed his gratitude to Allah for this. The Minister of State for Religion said, “The first flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines with 419 pilgrims will leave Dhaka for Saudi Arabia next Sunday (June 5) morning. This time 56 thousand 575 people will take part in Hajj from Bangladesh. ” A large number of Hajj pilgrims in Bangladesh perform Hajj through Hajj agencies approved by the Ministry of Religion, he said, adding that private agencies also follow our instructions. Faridul Haque Khan said, "We are conducting Hajj activities under the direct supervision of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and with utmost importance." He claimed that the improvement in Hajj activities in the last 13 years has been appreciated at home and abroad. The state minister further said, "This time we are conducting Hajj activities as per Hajj Management Act 2021." The inaugural ceremony was attended by Saudi Ambassador to Dhaka Essa Youssef Essa Al Dulaihan and Hajj pilgrims and 200 pilgrims.
