Announcement of reduction in fares for Middle Eastern passengers on the golden jubilee of Biman

News Desk: Biman Bangladesh Airlines, the state flag bearer, has entered its 50th year of existence. The airline was established on January 4, 1982. The fleet, which started with just one aircraft, currently has 21 aircraft. In addition to operating flights on all domestic routes, they have also traveled to the Middle East, South Asia and Europe.

Biman Bangladesh Airlines authorities have decided to reduce ticket prices for remittance fighters for expatriates in the Middle East on the golden jubilee of Biman. The reduced fares will apply to new ticket purchases in the Middle East from January 18, subject to vacancies on Jeddah, Riyadh, Dammam, Dubai and Abu Dhabi routes. However, the lower levels of rent will continue as usual.

1. The maximum one-way fare for each Economy Class ticket on the Dhaka-Jeddah route has been reduced from Rs 72,455 inclusive of tax to Rs 74,620 inclusive of tax.
2. The maximum one-way economy class fare on the Dhaka-Riyadh / Dammam route has been reduced from Rs 70,758 inclusive of tax to Rs 63,123 inclusive of tax.
3. The maximum one-way economy class fare on the Dhaka-Dubai route has been reduced from Rs 75,506 inclusive of tax to Rs 72,84 inclusive of tax.
4. The maximum one-way economy class fare on the Dhaka-Abu Dhabi route has been reduced from Tk 8,025 inclusive of tax to Rs 57,542 inclusive of tax.

Note that each ticket is accompanied by a fixed tax of Rs 8,844 to Rs 9,60.
