Ensuring a healthy learning environment: Atiq

News Desk: Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) is working to ensure a healthy environment for education in the capital's educational institutions, said Mayor Atiqul Islam. The DNCC mayor made the remarks while inspecting a three-day special clean-up operation at educational institutions organized by the DNCC from Uttara in the capital on Friday (September 10) morning.

He said, "Before the reopening of the educational institutions, fogging and spraying will be done in every classroom of almost all the educational institutions in the DNCC area and cleaning around the institutions including playgrounds and roofs will be done. Atiqul Islam said, ‘Under the special cleaning activities, cleaning activities have been conducted in Darussalam Government Secondary School and other educational institutions in Mirpur today.

Today is the last day of the three-day special cleaning program in 443 government, private and semi-government educational institutions from September 8 to 10, but in the educational institutions that have been used as vaccination centers, special cleaning activities will be conducted tomorrow (September 11).
