On Saturday (August 21) afternoon at the capital's Shahbagh Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) at the initiative of the University. He made the remarks while addressing a discussion meeting on the memory of those killed in the grenade attack on August 21 and the health care of the injured.

He said the grenade attack was carried out in 2004 at the behest of then Prime Minister Khaleda Zia under the direct direction of her son Tarique Rahman to dethrone the Awami League. The attack was carried out in the wake of the assassination of Bangabandhu on 15 August 1975. The Zia family, the biggest beneficiary of the August 15 killings, was then in power. Ziaur Rahman started the politics of assassination in this country by killing thousands of army members to prolong his power and Khaleda Zia continued it.

Mentioning that the politics of Jighangsa is one of the major obstacles to development and progress, the Information Minister said, "Those who do this politics must be killed and eliminated. They are political villains." BNP-Jamaat is doing this politics of mischief. '

"In order to establish a truly healthy politics in the country, the politics of those who carry out the politics of killing and terror, throwing petrol bombs at people, holding people hostage should be stopped," he said. Hasan Mahmud.

Hasan Mahmud, the then Environment and Forest Secretary of the Awami League, who was injured in the grenade attack on August 21, described the horrors of the attack and the bloodshed in his speech. MP Nasima Ferdousi showed some pictures of the bloody people in the grenade attack.
