International Desk: Curfew has been imposed in the Indian capital Delhi as corona infection continues to rise. The curfew will continue from 10 pm to 5 am from Tuesday to April 30. Infections have been on the rise in Delhi since last month. That is why the Delhi administration was forced to take drastic action. Earlier on Friday, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had said that the fourth wave of the corona has started.

But the lockdown is still not being considered. He said at the time, "Considering the situation, we are not thinking of imposing a lockdown right now. We are monitoring the situation and the decision will be made accordingly.

On Monday, 3,546 people were newly infected in Delhi. Besides, 15 people have died in the last 24 hours. Traffic will not be closed during the night curfew. In addition, if you have an e-pass, you will be allowed to travel from one place to another to get the vaccine. Merchants who have to travel for hours to buy groceries, vegetables, milk, and medicines also need to have an e-pass.

At the same time, journalists have to keep this e-pass with them for safe movement. It is mandatory for private doctors, nurses, and other medical staff to carry ID cards for movement. Pregnant women and people in need of emergency treatment will be excluded from these rules.

Daily transmission in India has come down a bit in one-day intervals. In the last 24 hours, about 98,000 people have been newly infected in the country. The number of victims a day earlier was more than one lakh. Maharashtra is the most affected state in the country. The number of victims in the last 24 hours is 46,026.

A state of partial lockdown has been declared in the state as the situation in Corona continues to deteriorate. The lockdown will be effective at the end of each week, from 6 pm on Friday to 6 am on Monday, until further notice.
