Preliminary examination of 43rd BCS will be held on 15th October

News Desk: The Public Service Commission (PSC) has fixed the date for the preliminary examination of the 43rd BCS. The test will be held on October 15 in eight divisional cities of the country. At the same time, the time to apply online for the BCS has been extended till 6 pm on June 30. Earlier, the last time to apply online was March 31. The probable date for the preliminary examination was given as August 8. This information was given in a press release of PSC on Tuesday.

It is said that the preliminary examination of the 43rd BCS will be held simultaneously on October 15 from 10 am to 12 noon in Dhaka, Rajshahi, Chittagong, Khulna, Barisal, Sylhet, Rangpur, and Mymensingh centers.

Detailed instructions regarding examination halls, seating arrangements, and examinations will be published in the media and on the PSC website in due course.

PSC published the notification of 43rd BCS on November 30 last year.

It was informed in the notification that one thousand 614 people will be recruited in different cadres through this examination.

Of these, 300 will be recruited in the administration cadre, 100 in the police, 25 in foreign countries, and 743 in education.

Besides, 35 people in audit, 19 people in tax, 14 people in customs, 20 people in cooperatives, 65 people in the post of dental surgeon, and 363 people in other cadres will be recruited in the 43rd BCS.
