Chhatra League's position and protest procession in JU to prevent strike

JU Correspondent: Leaders and activists of Jagannath University Chhatra League have staged a procession at the main gate against the strike called by Hefazat-e-Islam. On Sunday (March 26) at around eleven o'clock, the BCL leaders and activists of the university started gathering in front of the main gate of the campus.

Then everyone got together and took part in the procession. The procession started from the main gate of the university and went around the entire campus. After touring the campus, the BCL leaders and activists marched in Victoria Park, Laxmibazar, and surrounding areas.

At that time, slogans like 'Where did Jamaat Shibir go' and 'Get out of Shibir' floated on their faces. At the end of the procession, the leaders and activists said, "Jagannath University Chhatra League is on the streets to deal with any chaos in the university and the surrounding area.

" Hefazat-e-Islam staged protests in various districts of the country, including Baitul Mukarram, on March 26 in protest of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Dhaka. Hefazat-e-Islam activists clashed with police in Chittagong's Hathazari, killing four people. Hefazat-e-Islam called for nationwide protests on Saturday (March 26) and a morning-evening strike on Sunday (March 26).
