BNP Standing Committee Meeting Chaired by Tarique Rahman

News Desk: A meeting of the BNP’s highest policymaking body, the National Standing Committee, is currently underway. The meeting began at 7:00 p.m. on Friday (September 18) at the BNP Chairman’s office in Gulshan, Dhaka.

The meeting is being chaired by Prime Minister and BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman. BNP Media Cell member Shayrul Kabir Khan confirmed the information.

Those present at the meeting include BNP Acting Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi Ahmed; National Standing Committee member and MP Gayeshwar Chandra Roy; Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives Minister Dr. Abdul Moyeen Khan; Prime Minister’s Political Adviser Nazrul Islam Khan; Home Minister Salahuddin Ahmed; Finance and Planning Minister Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury; MP Begum Selima Rahman; Amanullah Aman; Prime Minister’s Public Administration Adviser Ismail Jabbullah; and BNP Chairman’s Adviser Dr. Farhad Halim Donar.
