‎Malaysia High Commissioner Highlights Halal Industry Potential and Invites Bangladeshi Businesses to MIHAS 2026

Diplomatic Correspondent: The High Commissioner of Malaysia delivered special remarks at a webinar titled “Bilateral Trade & Investment Opportunities in Malaysia through Participation in the 22nd MIHAS 2026”, organised by the Bangladesh-Malaysia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BMCCI).

During his remarks, the High Commissioner highlighted the Malaysia Halal International Showcase (MIHAS) as the world’s leading halal trade platform, offering significant opportunities for businesses to expand their global networks, explore new markets, and establish strategic partnerships.

‎He encouraged Bangladeshi businesses to participate in MIHAS 2026 to discover emerging trade and investment prospects in Malaysia’s dynamic halal ecosystem. He also emphasised the strong potential for enhanced collaboration between Malaysia and Bangladesh in the halal industry, which continues to grow as a key sector of bilateral economic cooperation.
‎Expressing optimism for stronger business engagement, the High Commissioner hoped to welcome a strong Bangladeshi business delegation to MIHAS 2026, further contributing to the expansion of Malaysia-Bangladesh trade and investment relations.
