Sports Desk: The fate of the match was swaying like a pendulum. The target of 220 runs in T20 is like a mountain. Chasing that target, Australia had 107 runs for 3 wickets at the end of 12 overs. 113 runs needed from 46 balls.

The way John Phillips-Marcus Stones was batting, it was difficult but the victory did not seem impossible. But in the 13th over, the Aussies got a big push. The team lost 3 wickets in one over by Mitchell Santner and dropped out of the match. In the third delivery of the over, John Phillip made his way to the dressing room by scoring 45 off 32 balls.

The Kiwi spinner returned Ashton Agar and Mitchell Marsh to the golden ball in the fifth and sixth balls. At the end of 13 overs, Australia collected 113 runs for 6 wickets. Is it possible to chase such a big goal? Marcus Stones and Daniel Sams led the team in making the impossible possible. But the last was not saved, the boat sank on the shore. In the second T20 of the series in Dunedin, New Zealand lost by 4 runs to take a 2-0 lead in the five-match series. Stones-Sams made 92 off 36 balls for the seventh wicket in a four-six spree. The victory was in front of my eyes.

But the Kiwis had the last laugh in the drama of the last over. Australia needed a total of 15 runs in the last over. Set batsman Sams-Stones is still on the wicket. New Zealand was under pressure. But Kiwi pacer Jimmy Nisham overcame that pressure with the ball in hand. He dismissed Sams with the first ball. Sam took the team to 205 and stopped. He made 45 runs off 15 balls with 2 fours and 4 sixes. Nisham took the next two ball dot of that out. In the fourth ball, Stones hit a six to increase the tension. But Nisham stopped him with the next ball. Stones were caught in long on with 6 runs off 36 balls with 6 fours and 5 sixes.

The dream of the Aussies is broken. In the last over, Richardson hit the boundary and only increased the regrets of the visitors. Australia's innings stopped at 215 runs for 6 wickets. Earlier, Martin Guptill could not score a century for just 3 runs, but he did bring a lot of capital to the team. The Kiwi opener played a devastating inning of 96 runs off 50 balls with 6 fours and 6 sixes. Why Williamson says 35 to 53. Nisham, the hero of the victory with the ball, also spread the light in batting. The all-rounder remained unbeaten on 45 off 16 balls with 1 four and 6 sixes. In all, 219 runs for 6 wickets were deposited on the New Zealand board.
