Shakib Al Hasan returned to Test

Sports Desk:  Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced the squad for the second and final Test of the series against Sri Lanka. Shakib Al Hasan returned to the team again with Chittagong Test. Pacer Hasan Mahmud has also been returned. 

Tawheed Hriday is dropped to replace Shakib. This middle order batsman was waiting for his Test debut. However, he lost his place without playing any match. 

Moreover, pacer Mushfiq Hasan has been dropped from the Sylhet Test team. Although he did not play in the last Test, he got injured before the Chittagong Test. The pacer was ruled out of the last Test of the series due to an ankle injury.

The second Test of the series will start from March 30 at Zahoor Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong. Sri Lanka have won the first Test by 328 runs and lead the series 1-0. This series is part of the ICC Test Championship.

Nazmul Hossain Shanto (Captain), Zakir Hasan, Mahmudul Hasan Joy, Sadman Islam, Liton Kumar Das, Muminul Haque, Shakib Al Hasan, Shahadat Hossain Dipu, Mehdi Hasan Miraj, Naeem Hasan, Taijul Islam, Shariful Islam, Syed Khaled Ahmed, Nahid Rana, Hasan Mahmud.
