Emiliano Martinez banned for one match

Sports Desk:  Emiliano Martinez played a big role in Aston Villa's UEFA Europa Conference League semi-final. He saved two penalties in the tiebreaker against Lille in the second leg of the quarter-final.

But after a great performance, bad news for Argentina's World Cup winning goalkeeper. He was banned by UEFA for one match after showing three yellow cards in the two legs of the quarter-finals. 

Martinez will miss Aston Villa's semi-final first leg against Greek club Olympiakos due to the ban. But he will be available in the second leg.

Martinez was booked twice in the second leg of the quarter-final against Lille, once in the match and once during the trybreaker. The second yellow card shown during the tiebreaker did not turn into a red card. 

However, the card has been correctly added. Martinez has been banned for one match as per the rules showing a total of 3 yellow cards.
