Sri Lanka set Bangladesh a huge target of 511 runs in the second Test

Sports Desk:  In the second Test of the two-match series, Sri Lanka declared an innings against Bangladesh by building a mountain of runs. The visitors have set Bangladesh a target of 511 runs to win the Chittagong Test. To win this test, Bangladesh will have to set a record for the run chase in test cricket. Sri Lanka announced the innings in the first session of the fourth day of Chittagong Test.

In the second innings, the visitors declared the innings by batting 40 overs and losing 7 wickets by scoring 157 runs. As a result, the target for Bangladesh is 511 to win. After scoring 100 runs on the third day, Bangladesh were all out for 178 runs. Bangladesh have been all out below two hundred runs in all three innings of the ongoing series. The Sri Lankans got a huge lead in the first innings due to a short wrap up.

As a result, Dhananjaya de Silva's team managed to set a huge target despite the bowlers doing well in the second innings of Sri Lanka. Only three Lankans managed to score double figures in the second innings. Angelo Mathews became the victim of Shakib Al Hasan after scoring a half century. He scored 56 runs with 5 fours.
