The statement said, "Recently, Al-Jazeera has deliberately and maliciously created misleading myths about Bangladesh and the government. The spirit of the war of independence and liberation has served as a pawn in the conflict, the truth of which is Al Jazeera's inaction against the trial of war criminals and the false and fabricated news about the number of casualties in the Hefazat-e-Islam movement, which is still deeply anti-Bangladesh and anti-government. Al-Jazeera's intentional and malicious propaganda is a conspiracy to destabilize the country by undermining Bangladesh's continued development progress. "We strongly condemn and protest Al Jazeera's use of the politically motivated report 'All the Prime Minister's Men' to spread false, conspiratorial and fabricated information against Bangladesh and the government.
