Temperatures are expected to drop again across the country

News Desk: The temperature in the country has risen a bit in the last two days. However, after the rise in temperature, the Meteorological Department has signaled a slight decrease again.

It has also been reported that the daytime temperature may rise slightly.

This information was given by the Meteorological Department in a weather forecast on Sunday (February 8) night. According to the forecast, the extension of the subcontinental high pressure zone is located in West Bengal and adjoining areas.

The increase in light pressure is located in West Bengal and adjoining Bangladesh in the foothills of the Himalayas. And the normal light pressure of the season is in the South Bay.

The forecast also said that light or drizzle is likely in one or two places of Sylhet division including Comilla and Noakhali areas till Monday (February 6) evening.

Apart from this, the weather will be mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere in the country. On the other hand, light to moderate fog may fall anywhere in the country from late night to early morning on Monday.

The Meteorological Department says nighttime temperatures across the country could drop by 1 to 3 degrees Celsius. And the daytime temperature may rise slightly. At this time, the wind speed in Dhaka from north-west or north will be 8 to 12 kilometers per hour.

Meanwhile, the weather may change slightly by Wednesday (February 10). However, there is no significant change in the extended five days.

The highest temperature recorded in the country on Sunday was 29 degrees Celsius in Teknaf. The lowest temperature recorded in Srimangal was 10.5 degrees Celsius.
