News Desk: Holidays in educational institutions are being extended in stages due to the ongoing epidemic of coronavirus. Educational institutions will not be opened until the situation returns to normal. However, the Prime Minister will take the final decision on extending the leave. According to the pre-announcement, the school-college is closed till January 18, but considering the situation, the holidays are being extended again this week.

Concerned people said that there is no plan to open the school-college before next April. In all respects, the school college is not opening before May-April. Recently, the Minister of State for Primary and Mass Education. Zakir Hossain said the primary school will not be opened until the situation returns to normal. However, the Prime Minister will take a final decision on extending the leave.

It is learned that it will be cold in the country till next February. So the government does not want to put the students at any risk by opening educational institutions during this winter. Therefore, after one more month after February, i.e. by March, the educational institution can open in April. At this time, the Department of Secondary and Higher Education (Maushi) has started the process of giving new assignments to the students to continue their studies.

The National Curriculum and Textbook Board (NCTB) has already started the process of preparing assignments for students. According to NCTB sources, the NCTB has sent hard copies and softcopies of the syllabus and assignments of seven subjects in Bengali, Irrigation, Mathematics, Bangladesh and World Identity, Science, Agriculture and Home Science to Mausi. Syllabus and assignments of other subjects will be sent in phases.

The NCTB has taken this initiative while it is closed due to the possibility of further extension of the ongoing holiday. And in the new academic year, Sangsad Bangladesh TV, radio and other virtual classes will be re-launched to allow the students to continue their studies. Responding to a question on whether the educational institution will be opened in 2021 if the Corona situation does not improve, NCTB chairman Prof Narayan Chandra Saha told the media, "We have started the process of preparing assignments for the entire academic year.

" It is not possible to say for sure when the educational institution will open. Therefore, in addition to the assignment, Mausi will also continue the class examination of the students in an alternative way.
