International Desk: An Iranian ship was captured by pirates in the Arabian Sea. Indian Navy rescued 23 Pakistanis from that ship. News - NDTV.
Iranian fishing vessel 'Al-Qambar 786' was captured by pirates on March 28. The ship was 90 nautical miles off the Yemeni island of Socotra when nine armed bandits boarded it.
The message from the ship was received by two Indian Navy ships in the Arabian Sea -- INS Sumedha and INS Trishul. The affected ship then left for the destination. 23 Pakistani crew were rescued after a 12-hour operation. The pirates surrendered in this incident.
