International Desk: The Russia-Ukraine war is in its third year. Russia is in a military crisis while carrying out the invasion of Ukraine. That is why Moscow has stepped up to collect new troops. Making tempting offers for those who will go to war. A one-time bonus of $22,000 has been announced.

Apart from this, it provides more income opportunities for the army. Moscow city authorities are offering record signing-on bonuses to new recruits to fight in Ukraine.  Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said in a statement to city residents on Tuesday that new recruits to the war will be given a one-time payment of $22,000 (1.9 million rubles).  The statement also says that if someone accepts this offer, after one year he will have the opportunity to earn another 59 thousand 600 dollars (5.2 million rubles).

$5,690 to $11,390 in cash will be paid if someone is injured in the war. This will depend on the type of injury. Also, $38,150 will be paid to the family if someone dies in the battlefield. Russia is keeping the number of casualties in the Ukraine war largely secret.

However, the British Ministry of Defense said in a statement on July 12 that more than 70,000 Russian soldiers were killed in May and June alone. Citing US intelligence sources, CNN reported that Russia had lost 87 percent of its active-duty ground troops before launching its invasion of Ukraine.

In addition, about two-thirds of the tanks were lost. Russia is looking for new soldiers to fight on the front lines as soldiers die. According to information published by the Kremlin last December, the country's President Putin ordered the increase of 170,000 army personnel. This number is about 15 percent of Russia's total army.
