Newsdesk: The U.S. Department of State Counselor Derek Chollet, with USAID Counselor Clinton White, traveled to Dhaka February 14-15. While in Bangladesh, Counselor Chollet met with the Honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, Foreign Minister Momen, other senior government officials, and representatives from humanitarian organizations to discuss U.S.-Bangladesh cooperation on addressing the Rohingya refugee crisis, accelerating economic growth opportunities, promoting democratic principles, protection of human rights, and further strengthening the partnership between our two countries.
