International Desk:  The fight against the enemy in Ukraine is getting tougher day by day. Russia is gradually deploying more troops. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said this.

After the announcement of the supply of tanks to the West, Russian troops have intensified their attacks on the country. Putin's forces are desperate to take control of the country's Bakhmut. They also want to take possession of Voledar.

In a video message last night, Zelensky said the situation is dire for those fighting on the frontline. The occupiers are fielding new armies in droves and are able to break through our defenses.

Zelensky also said that it has become difficult to control the cities of the region including Bakhmut, Voledar, Liman.

However, earlier the country's Deputy Defense Minister Hanna Maliyar wrote in a telegram that Russian troops failed to break the defense of Ukrainian forces in Bakhmut and Liman.

The city of Liman lies north of Bakhmut. This city was liberated from Russian control last October. Again there is a fear of it being taken over by Russia.

Earlier on Friday, Zelensky promised that Ukrainian soldiers will fight to the death to protect Bakhmut. Zelensky said this in a meeting with European Union leaders in Kiev. He said, we will fight till death to protect Bakhmut. I will be engaged in protecting it like a fortress.

Zelensky also said, if we are supplied with more weapons. Then it will be easier to protect different areas. Also, it will be possible to expel the enemies from the Donbas region.

Meanwhile, the Russian forces said that they have surrounded Bakhmut. One by one, Russian troops are occupying different roads of the city.

Bakhmut is an important city in the Donbas region of Ukraine. Russia has been shelling the city for the past several months.
Incidentally, the coming February 24 is going to complete one year of attacks in the country. Russia has said that they will mark the anniversary of the attack on Ukraine with a new major attack.

Meanwhile, during a speech on a French television channel, Ukraine's Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov claimed that Moscow is planning to send about five hundred thousand troops to the field.
