News Desk: Foreign Minister Dr. AK Abdul Momen said, we want to have good relations with both the US and China. What is the relationship with them, that is their headache, not ours. When asked to comment on the equal relationship with China and the United States, he said this.

At the end of the event, Dr. faced the journalists. Momen said that China has helped the Rohingya repatriation. Chinese Foreign Minister Qin Gang has pledged to continue that assistance.  

Dr. Momen said that the Chinese foreign minister praised the incredible development of Bangladesh. He (Chinese Foreign Minister) said that China will be involved in the development journey of Bangladesh. The transition from the financial crisis caused by the Russia-Ukraine war must be coordinated.

He said that the Chinese foreign minister said about the Rohingya crisis that there are some problems in Myanmar, due to which the repatriation of Rohingya is being prolonged. As we have said, if this crisis is prolonged, it will create instability in the region.

Dr. Momen said that many people are looking at us for the balanced diplomacy of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. We have become the 35th largest economy. That is why they are interested in increasing our trade and investment here.  

In response to a question. Momen said, you talk more about the election. Elections will be held a year later. There are still many days left. You make more noise about them. Now elections are very fair.  

China's newly appointed Foreign Minister Qin Gang made a short stopover in Dhaka on Monday (January 9) midnight. Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen welcomed him at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport during the layover. At this time both foreign ministers met in a meeting.
