The container exploded at Sitakunda in Chittagong

News Desk: A fire has been reported at the BM container depot at Sonaichhari in Sitakunda, Chittagong. 13 units are working to control the fire. Two people who were burnt in the fire died after being taken to hospital. More than half a hundred people, including fire service personnel and police members, were injured in the incident. According to the police and fire service, the fire started at the loading point of BM Container Depot after 9 pm on Saturday. Three units of the fire service tried to control the fire at the scene. It is learned that the fire broke out in the containers around 11 pm tonight. The epicenter was reported below the ground, however; no tsunami alert was issued.
