Obaidul Quader said, ‘Bangladesh Awami League is the oldest and only political organization to establish the rights of the people of the country. The Awami League government under the leadership of Sheikh Hasina, daughter of Bangabandhu, has been working tirelessly for the establishment of a state system based on democratic values ​​and the spirit of the Liberation War and a better life for the people of the country.

He said, "Just three and a half years after the independence of the country, by killing the father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and his family, the murderous clique has disrupted the process of rebuilding the country." The dictator Ziaur Rahman, the mastermind of the conspiracy to assassinate the father of the nation, assassinated democracy by seizing state power unconstitutionally and illegally and sent the spirit of liberation war into exile. The BNP has always been in the politics of seizing power in its continuity. '

The general secretary of the Awami League said, "The main thing for the BNP, not the country and the people, is to seize state power by any means and establish their absolute dominance." As the BNP is involved in various blueprints at home and abroad to regain power, they find the smell of conspiracy in their words. The BNP has created step by step obstacles in the establishment of democracy by introducing looting and irregularities in the politics of Bangladesh.

Quader said, "I want to tell the BNP leaders that the Awami League does not hold rigged elections to usurp power. The political game is the traditional political culture of the BNP. The people who conducted the fraudulent elections on February 15, 1996, the same person who made the president and the head of the caretaker government, the people who secretly increased the age of judges to make the party head of the caretaker government, are the masterminds of the fraudulent game.

He further said, ‘BNP leaders verbally raised questions about the 2018 elections and the 11th National Assembly. But the 2018 election was an inclusive election with the participation of all political parties. The BNP participated in that election and domestic and foreign observers monitored the election. Of the 117 local bodies registered with the Election Commission, 61 were allowed to observe the Eleventh Parliamentary Election. There are representatives of other political parties including BNP in the parliament. So how were the BNP MPs elected? If Parliament is illegal how are their MPs representing there and speaking in Parliament every day on various issues? In fact, the politics of the BNP is a two-pronged politics. Their politics has been based on anti-people and power-hungry policies from birth. '

Obaidul Quader further said that the BNP does not agree with anything about the election and the legitimacy of the parliament. In the past, people have witnessed how the BNP has played with the democratic system and institutions. I will call on the BNP leaders to look at themselves in the mirror.
