News Desk: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has expressed hope that the 26th Dhaka International Trade Fair-2022 will convey the message of our capability more strongly. Through video conferencing on Saturday (January 1), the Prime Minister inaugurated the fair and announced the ICT product service as the product of the year 2022.

The Prime Minister said, "We come to the government and open every product privately." We even expose mobile phones privately. We took the initiative to teach and use computers. We have taken initiative so that our country can move forward in industry and trade and increase production. In particular, we focus on creating our own market. Because the expansion of industrialization will happen if we create our own market.

"I have arranged a permanent fair," he said. Doing the first show, there may be some problems. I have made the structure, the rest you (traders) solve. As a result of this fair, the demand for the product will be known and the idea of ​​making and marketing the product will be available in that light. At the same time, we believe that the friendly and trade relations between the participating countries will increase.

We have completed our survey on expanding trade with 23 countries. We will make various agreements with them. We want trade diplomacy to expand, added the Prime Minister.

The Prime Minister said, "I have given various incentives to keep the business in Corona and move forward." You have to pay 50 percent of the bank interest in Corona, the rest we are subsidizing. Due to this, the economy of many countries has come to a standstill. We have been able to keep our economy afloat. Bangladesh is moving forward. However, there was a slight push. I believe that I can overcome that too. The ideology with which the father of the nation has liberated the country must be fulfilled.

At the same time, the Prime Minister declared ICT product service as Product of the Year-2022 and said, "According to the export policy, every year we declare a product as Product of the Year or Product of the Year." This time I am announcing ICT product or service as product 2022.

Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi presided over the function while Senior Secretary of the Commerce Ministry Tapan Kanti Ghosh and FBCCI President Jasim Uddin spoke on the occasion.
