According to the Meteorological Department, if the temperature is between 6 to 10 degrees Celsius, it is called mild cold, if it is between 6 and 7 degrees, it is called moderate cold. And when the temperature drops below 6 degrees Celsius, it is called severe cold wave.

On Friday (December 31), the temperature in Kurigram and Panchagarh dropped below 10 degrees Celsius. On Thursday (December 30), the country's minimum temperature at Tentulia in Panchagarh was 7.4 degrees Celsius, while at Rajarhat in Kurigram it was 9.1 degrees Celsius. Saturday the 18th of Poush.

"Temperatures are likely to continue to drop from January 5 to 6," he said. The cold snap could spread to new areas. At this time mild to moderate cold will flow. The temperature is not expected to drop below 6 degrees. After 5 to 6 January, the temperature may rise a little.
