Two more people died in Corona in Chittagong, 54 identified

News Desk: Two people have died in Chittagong in the last 24 hours due to coronavirus infection. At this time, 54 people have been identified as newly infected with corona.

This information has been known from the report published from Chittagong District Civil Surgeon's Office on Thursday. On Wednesday, 48 people were identified as Corona. One died that day.

The district civil surgeon said. Sheikh Fazle Rabbi said samples of 1,650 people were tested in 12 labs in Chittagong and one in Cox's Bazar and coronavirus was found in the bodies of 54 people. 33 of them are residents of Chittagong city. The rest are from different upazilas. In the last 24 hours, the corona detection rate is 3.28 percent.

Among the upazilas, 1 in Chandnaish, 9 in Raozan, 9 in Hathazari and 2 in Mirsarai have been affected by corona. No new cases of corona were reported in Lohagara, Satkania, Banshkhali, Anwara, Patia, Boalkhali, Rangunia, Fatikchhari, Sitakunda and Sandwip upazilas.

One lakh one thousand 490 people have been infected with corona in Chittagong so far. Among the identified, 63,517 are residents of Chittagong city. The remaining 26,982 are from different upazilas.

In the last 24 hours, two people who died in Corona in Chittagong are residents outside the city. A total of 1,026 people have died in Chittagong so far. Of these, 608 died in Chittagong city and 58 died in different upazilas.

The first corona patient was identified on April 3 last year in Chittagong. Then on April 9, the first person to die from the virus.
