The Prime Minister left Dhaka for New York

News Desk: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has left Dhaka to attend the 7th General Assembly of the United Nations in New York. He left Dhaka with his entourage on a special flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines at 9:23 am on Friday. According to the schedule, the plane carrying the Prime Minister will land in Helsinki, Finland at 3:45 pm Bangladesh time.

The Prime Minister will stop there for two days. During the break, the Prime Minister will be staying at Hotel Kämp in Helsinki. The Prime Minister will leave Helsinki's Vantaa International Airport for New York at 4 pm local time on Sunday (September 19). John F. at about 6 p.m., New York time. The Prime Minister is scheduled to arrive at Kennedy Airport. After the airport formalities there, the Prime Minister will visit Lotte New York Palace, his residence during his visit. The Prime Minister will take part in a closed-door meeting on climate change with the participation of heads of state and government at 9 am New York time on Monday (September 20). At 11:30 a.m., Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman will plant a tree and dedicate a bench in the garden on the north lawn of the UN headquarters on the occasion of his birth centenary. At around 12:30 pm, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will hold a meeting with European Council President Charles Michel at her residence. He will hold a meeting with the Prime Minister of Barbados Mia Amor Motley at the same place at 3:15 pm. At 4 pm, he will participate in the program titled Sustainable Development Solution Network. Sheikh Hasina will participate in the inaugural session of the 7th session of the UN General Assembly on Tuesday (September 21) at 9 am at the General Assembly Hall of the UN Headquarters. He will take part in the roundtable meeting of the US-Bangladesh Business Council at his residence this afternoon.

On Wednesday (September 22) at 11 am local time, Sheikh Hasina will take part in a virtual program titled 'White House Global Covid-19 Summit: Ending the Pandemic and Building Back Better' from her residence. The Prime Minister will have a meeting with Queen Maxima of the Netherlands at 12 noon and in the afternoon will participate in a high-level (virtual) program titled 'Rohingya Crisis: Sustainable Solutions are Vital'. On Thursday (September 23) at 8 am, the event will be attended by Leaders Network on Delivering on the UN Common Agenda: Action to Achieve Equality and Conclusion. The Prime Minister will address a video message titled 'Food Systems Summit as Part of the Decade of Action to Achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGS) by 2030' chaired by the UN Secretary General. At noon, Sheikh Hasina will hold regular meetings with Maldivian President Ibrahim Mohamed Salih, UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres and Vietnamese President Nguyen Xuan Phuc at the UN headquarters.

The Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina will address the 7th session of the UN General Assembly on Friday (September 24) morning local time. The Prime Minister of the Netherlands will have a meeting with Mark Rutte at noon and will take part in a virtual civic reception hosted by the Bangladeshi community living in the United States at 8 pm. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will leave New York for Washington on Saturday (September 25) morning. The Prime Minister will stay in the United States till September 29. The Prime Minister will leave Washington for Helsinki, Finland on September 30 at 5 pm on Biman Bangladesh Airlines' VVIP flight BG-1904. The Prime Minister will arrive at Helsinki's Vantaa International Airport on Friday (October 1) at 8:15 am.

Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight BG-1905 will leave for Dhaka at 10.45 am. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is scheduled to arrive in the country on Friday (October 1) at 10:15 pm.
