Coronavirus: Infection and death have increased again in India

International Desk: The number of daily deaths due to coronavirus infection in India has increased again. At the same time, the number of newly infected patients has also increased. However, the country's corona infection is on the rise, but the recovery rate is also increasing with relief. In the last 24 hours, more people have recovered in the country than have been newly infected with the virus.

In the last 24 hours, 43,833 people have been newly infected with corona in India, according to data released by the Indian Ministry of Health on Wednesday (July 7th). In other words, the number of newly infected patients has increased by 9,000 in the country as compared to the previous day. With this latest number, the total number of people affected by corona in the country since the beginning of the epidemic has stood at 3 crore 8 lakh 83 thousand 85 people.

On the other hand, in the last 24 hours, 930 people have died due to corona in India. In other words, the number of deaths has increased by about 400 in the last one day as compared to the previous day. 4 lakh 4 thousand 211 people have died in the country since the beginning of the epidemic.

Meanwhile, in the last 24 hours, more people have recovered in India than have been infected daily. As a result, the number of active patients in the country has decreased. In the last one day, 46,240 people have recovered in India. On the other hand, the number of daily victims is about 44,000.

At one time there were more than 36 lakh active patients in the country but at least that number has come down to about 4.5 lakh. In the last 24 hours, the number of active patients in India has decreased by about 5,000. The total number of active patients in the country is 4 lakh 59 thousand 920 people.

Due to the increase in the number of new infections, the daily rate has also increased as compared to the previous day. The daily infection rate in the country is now 2.29 percent. On Tuesday, the rate was 2.11 percent.

The percentage of positive reports that come out of the number of covid tests that are done every day is called the 'positivity rate'. In India, the recovery rate is now 97.17 percent.

Meanwhile, the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) said that as of July 8, 42 crore 33 lakh 32 thousand 97 samples have been tested in India. Of these, 19 lakh 8 thousand 218 people have been tested in the last 24 hours.

Besides, 36 crore 13 lakh people have been vaccinated in India so far. Simultaneous immunization program started in the country on January 17 this year.
