News Desk: Two employees of the Pakistani embassy in South Korea have been arrested for stealing from a shop in Seoul, police said. According to The Korea Times, the Yangsan Police Station said they were caught stealing items worth 11,000 won (10) and 1,900 won (1.60), respectively, from the same store in Itayon, Yangsan District.

One is accused of stealing 1,900 won (1.60), a January 10, and the other 11,000 won (10), a February 23 chocolate treat.Shortly after the theft, an employee of the shop filed a police report and law enforcement authorities identified the suspect as a 35-year-old diplomat at the Pakistani embassy through CCTV footage.

After an investigation, the authorities closed the case without arresting the suspect. Police said the shop owner did not want to be punished because a colleague of the diplomat paid for the item.
